Major Car Accident in Ashtarak: Injuries Reported

On October 12, a dramatic car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 2:40 AM, 25-year-old Arbak Hayrapetyan, a resident of the Aragatsotn region, lost control of his Mercedes vehicle in front of house number 57 on Narekatsuy Street in Ashtarak and veered into oncoming traffic, crashing into a walnut tree.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, both A. Hayrapetyan and his passenger, 17-year-old Harutyun H. from Aragatsotn, were assisted out of the vehicle by citizens. They received initial medical assistance on-site from doctors who promptly arrived from the Ashtarak hospital and were subsequently taken to the Ashtarak Medical Center. One of the injured was later transferred to Armenia Medical Center in Yerevan.

The accident also caused property damage to a nearby flower shop.
