How Many New Buses Have Arrived in Yerevan and When Will They Be Put into Service: City Hall Explains
211 new buses have arrived in Yerevan from China as the first batch. This information was shared with Sputnik Armenia by the press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor, Hakob Karapetyan.
“Currently, the first batch is already in Yerevan, and the remaining ones will arrive in the coming weeks. We need to wait for the complete batch to arrive, while the licensing and other documentation processes are ongoing. Only after that will the new buses be distributed according to the routes,” Karapetyan noted.
It should be recalled that on September 14 of this year, Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan announced that the buses would reach Yerevan by the end of October. The new buses will partially complement the existing fleet involved in the current routes and will also operate on new routes.
