Russia's Defense Ministry Confirms Killing of Civilian in Martakert

The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed the killing of a civilian in Martakert by Azerbaijani forces yesterday. According to a statement released by the ministry, on October 9, in the vicinity of Martakert, during agricultural work near the line of contact, a peaceful resident of the village of Mataghis suffered fatal injuries due to shelling by Azerbaijani forces.

The command of the Russian military contingent is conducting an investigation into the incident, involving representatives from both sides.
