Body of 9-Year-Old Boy Missing in Yerevan Found Under Collapsed Concrete Slab

On October 10, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 00:10 hours, the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service received a call reporting that a child's body was found under a concrete slab in a neighborhood known as "Independence Maya" in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district.

According to G. Shamshyan, at 23:00 the previous evening, the boy's father had approached the Malatia police and reported that his son had left home at 17:00 and had not returned. Following this, the Malatia police, along with the child's relatives and neighbors, began search operations. They eventually discovered the boy's lifeless body at a location near his residence.

Several citizens present at the scene, who refused to speak on camera, expressed their anger, stating that the area in question is owned by someone who has failed to maintain any safety measures. The situation in the area is chaotic, with no safety barriers in place, allowing children to enter the zone without any obstacles. There are many similar dangerous concrete slabs nearby.
