Azerbaijan Arrests Sniper Who Killed Armenian Farmer in Artsakh: Abovyan
According to a prominent Telegram channel (Mika Badalyan), the Azerbaijanis have arrested a sniper who killed an Armenian farmer in Artsakh yesterday, following pressure from the Russian side, and have expressed "apologies" at the highest level. This was reported by former MP Arman Abovyan on his Facebook page.
"If this information is correct, it in no way indicates that the Azerbaijanis have finally decided to 'become human' and stop their anti-Armenian policy. On the contrary... I am convinced that the Azerbaijani sniper received a clear order to KILL the peaceful Armenian farmer. The difference is that the Russians do not consider the killing of an Armenian as a 'normal' phenomenon, being far from the fascist ideologies of Turkish-Azerbaijani savagery. I believe the Russians have imposed very strict conditions on the Azerbaijanis, and they were simply forced to respond. Now two important aspects remain to be clarified. Was the sniper actually arrested? If yes, will the Armenian side demand that the Azerbaijanis hand over the murderer to the authorities of Artsakh?
P.S. When will the Azerbaijani authorities arrest ALL those Azerbaijanis who tortured, murdered, and mistreated Armenian captives, women, children, and the elderly, and when will the Azerbaijanis be ready to withdraw their troops from the sovereign territories of Artsakh and Armenia?" wrote Arman Abovyan.
