Six Individuals with Russian Passports Arrested in Turkey on Charges of Espionage

In Turkey, armed Russians have been arrested. Six individuals with Russian passports are suspected of espionage and preparing for armed attacks. This was reported by CNN Turk and several other Turkish media outlets.

The arrests took place in Istanbul and Antalya during a joint operation by the Turkish police and the country's intelligence services.

Authorities have confiscated three handguns, one of which was equipped with a silencer and laser sight, as well as ammunition. According to Turkish security forces, the detainees were preparing for an armed attack in Istanbul and were gathering secret information for political or military espionage purposes.
