Lebanon Left Without Electricity: Energy Minister on Power Plant Issues

Lebanon's Energy Minister Walid Fayad has announced that after a disruption, the country’s energy system has returned to its normal operation, according to the Lebanese OTV television channel.

On Saturday, Lebanon experienced a complete power outage due to the shutdown of the country's two largest power plants.

“The power grid has resumed its normal operations, which had been halted due to fuel consumption at the two major power plants,” said the minister.
