It Is Known How Often PCR Tests Will Be Conducted in Schools in Georgia for Unvaccinated or Partially Vaccinated Staff
In Georgia, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated school staff will undergo rapid antibody testing once a week, while fully vaccinated (with two doses) individuals will be tested every two weeks using the PCR method. This is stated in the decree signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, according to Jnews.ge.
“Exceptions apply in cases where there is a recommendation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia regarding the impossibility of testing, or where the individuals working in the institution fully utilize the remote learning electronic model,” the decree, which has already come into effect, notes.
According to the Ministry of Education of Georgia, currently, 68% of school staff are vaccinated, and this process is ongoing.
