Former Village Head Releases Son from Military Service and Illegally Appropriates Community Property

The former head of the community in Agavni village, Kotayk Province, Mkhitar Danielyan, has reportedly released his son from military service through deceptive means. According to information from Aravot.am, the police have received a letter from the National Security Service (NSS) detailing the allegations.

Mkhitar Danielyan allegedly freed his son from military service by falsely stating that he had health issues incompatible with military duties, although law enforcement officials insist that the son did not actually have such problems. Additionally, according to the correspondence, the former village head committed further illegal acts.

During his tenure, Mkhitar Danielyan, in cooperation with his deputy Anna B. and secretary Makich D., forged the signatures of community council members, creating and using official counterfeit documents from 2014 to 2017. Moreover, in 2017, after reaching preliminary agreements with various individuals responsible for conducting official auctions, he violated the regulations for public bidding and appropriated property belonging to the community in his name.
