Surgeon at Normed Hospital Attacked: What Happened in the Hospital

ArmLur.am has learned that Hegnari Sayadyan has been charged with assaulting Aram Mikayeli Khachatryan, a vascular surgeon at Normed Medical Center. The incident occurred on July 29, 2021, at 08:40, in the waiting area of the Normed Medical Center located at 12/6 Hrachya Nersisyan Street in Yerevan.

According to the charges, Hegnari Sayadyan entered into a dispute with the doctor regarding the surgery performed on his daughter, Rouzanna Sayandyan, on October 1, 2019, at the same medical center. During this confrontation, he allegedly inflicted multiple blows on Aram Khachatryan's hands, feet, and other parts of his body with the intent to cause harm.

The attack resulted in minor injuries characterized by abrasions on the right forearm and the right shin area, but did not constitute severe bodily harm.
