Major Car Accident in Gegharkunik Province: Toledo and VAZ 2107 Collide, Drivers Hospitalized

On October 5, a car accident occurred in Gegharkunik Province. Around 07:20, vehicles driven by 42-year-old Artem M. in a Toledo and 31-year-old Vahram K. in a VAZ 2107 collided on the 40.4 km section of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, both drivers were hospitalized with bodily injuries at the "Gavar" medical center.

Rapid response units from the 1st platoon of the 4th company of the 2nd traffic police battalion, led by battalion commander Edgar Susliyane and platoon commander Vachagan Voskanian, arrived at the scene. The senior investigator of the same platoon, Bakur Saribekyan, is leading the investigative work, and materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
