Illegal Tobacco Products Discovered

The Market Surveillance Inspection Body has announced that illegal products have been identified.

According to the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on reducing and preventing health damage caused by the use of tobacco products and their substitutes, the Market Surveillance Inspection Body carried out an inspection at the address 19-21 Saryan Street in Yerevan, where the company "Agrosya" LLC operates.

The inspection revealed that the aforementioned company was selling chewing tobacco brands such as "Oden's", Lenny, Ving, Bull Dog, and Siberia, which are prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Armenia under the Law.

In response to this fact, the Market Surveillance Inspection Body has initiated an administrative proceeding against the director of "Agrosya" LLC for administrative liability, and relevant information has also been provided to the Police and the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.

The Market Surveillance Inspection Body urges citizens to be vigilant and refrain from purchasing illegal chewing tobacco, and to immediately report any similar products by calling 010-23-56-00.
