High School Senior Involved in Accident While Driving Relative's Vehicle, Taken to Hospital
On October 4, a significant traffic accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. At around 17:20, a 17-year-old resident of the region, Emma A., while driving a VAZ 2121 model car, collided with roadside boulders on Freedom Street in the city of Gavar under still unknown circumstances, causing the vehicle to overturn.
According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, Emma A. suffered bodily injuries and was taken to the 'Gavar' Medical Center for examination, after which she was discharged.
The 1st company of the 4th battalion of the 2nd police regiment promptly arrived at the scene, led by battalion commander Edgar Susliyan and company commander Vachagan Voskanyan. The senior investigator of the same battalion, Bakur Saribekyan, led the investigative work on-site, and materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
According to information from the site, the vehicle belonged to a relative of the driver, and the driver is a 12th-grade student at one of the high schools in Gavar.
