Vahe Gevorgyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council representing the My Step faction, stated on his Facebook page: “You will see your jawbones, but you will not see a war between Iran and Azerbaijan. Aside from the fact that diplomatic relations between Iran and Azerbaijan are at a very high level, and that Iran has unequivocally supported Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity throughout the war, Iran’s bombastic statements should not be taken at face value. For decades, Iran has been threatening Israel and the USA with mere words. Even after the assassination of Suleimani, it was only verbal threats that Iran made to level the US to the ground.”
