Turkish Armed Forces Begin Using Advanced Ground Autonomous Vehicles
The Turkish Armed Forces have started using autonomous ground vehicles for conducting combat and non-combat hazardous operations. This was reported by the Turkish Daily Sabah newspaper, citing the country's Ministry of National Defense.
According to the ministry, the ACROB IKA mobile complexes can be remotely operated to perform reconnaissance and observation missions while overcoming various obstacles, including water bodies.
It is noted that with the aid of this equipment, the Turkish Army's ground units will be able to minimize personnel losses, as the complexes allow reconnaissance to be conducted in dangerous areas under enemy fire.
