Game is Very Dangerous in Both Directions: Iranian Expert on Regional Developments
Iranian expert Vardan Voskanyan wrote on his Facebook page: "Currently, the autocrat of Baku, actually cornered by Iran, is trying to maneuver by activating discussions about the '3+3' format (three South Caucasian countries + Russia, Turkey, Iran) and claiming that Armenia is the one 'blocking' its establishment.
The fact that the Aliyev regime has almost forgotten this 'format' and is now trying to enter it is essentially a pathetic attempt to motivate Iran to allegedly participate in the South Caucasian processes.
On the other hand, the autocrat of Baku is positioning himself as a leader of the country with a clear anti-Iranian stance, effectively presenting himself to the West as well.
The game is very dangerous in both directions because it is evident that Iran has already decided not only to actively influence the developments in the South Caucasus but also to seriously 'participate' in the 'regulation' of intra-Azerbaijani issues.
I believe we will start hearing more often about the structure named 'Husseiniyun' (the Hussainis) which has a symbol featuring a famous assault rifle and a well-known color design."
