What Humanitarian Aid Has Armenia Received? - 'Joghovurd'
‘Joghovurd’ newspaper reports that from January to July of this year, Armenia has received $26,580,400 in humanitarian aid, while in the same period last year, the amount was $11,044,700.
According to official sources, Armenia has received $118,100 in humanitarian aid from CIS countries. From the Russian Federation, humanitarian assistance amounted to $100, whereas in the same period last year, the aid from Russia was $99,800.
The newspaper also informed that Armenia received $1,176,800 in aid from Germany, which reflects a decrease compared to last year; in January to July 2020, it was $1,646,300. From our friend France, humanitarian assistance of $1,187,500 has entered Armenia, in contrast to last year’s figure of $659,700 during the same period.
Moreover, the volume of humanitarian aid from Italy has significantly decreased. While last year, in the first seven months, Armenia received $2,012,800 from Italy, this year the figure stands at only $395,900.
