Mikhail Saakashvili's Letter to the Georgian People Published
The former President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, has sent a letter to the Georgian people.
He stated that when he left Kyiv, he was aware that he would likely be arrested on fabricated, false charges ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I want to ask all of you to go to the elections so that no vote is lost, and after that, we must collectively defend the results of the referendum," Saakashvili wrote.
"My freedom, and most importantly, the freedom of Georgia, entirely depends on your actions and preparedness for battle. From this depends international support as well. Please, do not hesitate and believe that our victory is in our hands. I love you, your faithful, Mikhail Saakashvili."
