COVID-19 Numbers Continue to Rise: Here's the Current Situation

As of October 2, Armenia has confirmed 1,152 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 263,783.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 15 citizens have died from the virus in one day, increasing the death toll to 5,354.

Additionally, one death was recorded in a patient infected with COVID-19 due to another illness, bringing the total number of such cases to 1,212 as of October 2. In total, 16 people died in one day, with the overall death cases reaching 6,566.

The number of recoveries in one day is 772, with a cumulative total of 243,341 recoveries, and 13,876 individuals are currently under treatment.

In the past day, 9,656 tests were conducted, with a cumulative total of 1,733,726 tests performed to date.
