Police Catch Thief Red-Handed Attempting to Steal Metal Donation Box from 'Holy Mother of God' Church

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, the investigative department of the Yeghgneadzor police is preparing materials based on operational data received on September 30 from the community police station. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, operational information was received at the community police department that a 32-year-old resident of Vayots Dzor province, Arabo Kh., had entered the 'Holy Mother of God' church located on Narekatsi street in Yeghgneadzor, taking advantage of the open door, and had stolen the metal donation box intended for contributions.

According to G. Shamshyan, Arabo Kh. managed to take the box out of the church and attempted to open it by means of force, but due to the police's operational actions, he was unable to complete his nefarious act. The metal donation box was discovered in his possession, after which he was taken to the Yeghgneadzor police department, where he was later released.
