Management Academy Leadership Has Deprived Me of Teaching Opportunity: Hayk Mamijanyan

Member of the National Assembly from the "Honorary Mission" faction, Hayk Mamijanyan, affiliated with the Republican Party of Armenia, has been prohibited from teaching at the Armenian State Academy of Management due to his political activities. He announced this in a Facebook post.

"My dear students, today I learned that the leadership of the Armenian State Academy of Management has decided to deprive me of the opportunity to engage in my beloved work—teaching. The reason, of course, is my political activity. These authorities are incapable of understanding what academic ethics and professionalism mean. For them, the fact of my presence in the classroom is a political campaign, despite the fact that such a thing has NEVER been present in my lessons.

I want to thank all the students with whom we have worked over the past five years. Thank you for forcing me to continuously improve myself in order to provide you with competitive knowledge in every class. I hope I was able to pass on to you at least as much knowledge and skills as I learned from you.

I'm also grateful to Professor Mariam Margaryan for trusting me with this honorable job. P.S. I would like to remind you that about a month ago, the same decision was made regarding Artak Zakaryan."
