What Vanadzor Residents Say About the Woman Killed Yesterday and Her Injured Husband
Last night, around 02:30, 27-year-old Diana Darbinyan was shot dead in front of the Victory Park in Yerevan. She was the daughter of Bagrat Darbinyan, the general director of the Gloria sewing factory. Her husband, 29-year-old Vazgen Margaryan, was wounded and taken to the hospital. It should be noted that the police are determining the circumstances of the incident, with preliminary reports indicating that a 24-year-old man shot at the couple following a dispute stemming from previous issues he had with Bagrat Darbinyan's son-in-law, which escalated into a vendetta.
According to sources from the Vanadzor website, Dabrinyan's daughter and son-in-law lived in Yerevan, where the son-in-law was also a businessman who had established his own company. Residents of Vanadzor describe Diana as a modest, balanced, and cultured individual, while her husband was noted for his reserved demeanor.
