Video: Attempted Murder Near Victory Park Uncovered, Criminal Arrested

The investigation into the attempted murder of two or more individuals near Victory Park in Yerevan continues within the Arabkir division of the Yerevan Investigative Committee. Following urgent investigative actions and operational activities, the identity of the person suspected of committing the evident crime has been established; he is a 29-year-old resident of Yerevan.

The suspect has been found and arrested on charges of attempting to murder two or more persons, as well as illegally acquiring, keeping, and carrying a weapon.

As previously reported, on September 28, 2021, around 1:30 AM, the alleged perpetrator opened fire on three individuals near a parked Land Rover at Victory Park and fled the scene. As a result of the gunfire, one person sustained a gunshot wound to the right thigh, and his wife, also injured by gunfire, was taken to a medical center where she later died without regaining consciousness.

The investigation is ongoing, with necessary measures being undertaken to clarify all circumstances of the incident and ensure an objective and comprehensive inquiry.
