Early Double Vaccination Against Coronavirus May Lead to Side Complications: The Lancet

Early double vaccination against coronavirus may lead to side complications, including myocarditis. This was stated by a group of scientists in a commentary published in The Lancet. According to them, this applies to both mRNA vaccines and adenovirus-based medications.

This conclusion has been reached by a group of scientists, including the chief researcher of the World Health Organization (WHO) Soumya Swaminathan. The results of the study have been published in The Lancet medical journal.

Scientists note that if booster doses are injected into the body too early or too frequently, it may lead to side complications. These include myocarditis (damage to the heart muscle recorded after mRNA vaccines—Pfizer and Moderna medications have been created using this technology) or the onset of Guillain-Barré syndrome, which has been associated with COVID-19 vaccines using adenovirus (this technology was used in the creation of the Russian vaccine “Sputnik V” and AstraZeneca medication).
