Iran Discovers Terrorist Group in Northwestern Region

The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence has announced the discovery of a terrorist group in the northwestern part of the country, specifically in the West Azerbaijan province.

According to the Tasnim news agency, the ministry reported that its forces have identified and eliminated a team of anti-revolutionary terrorists operating in the West Azerbaijan province along the Piranshahr-Naqadeh road. During confrontations with intelligence forces, two members of the terrorist group were killed, while the others were arrested.

It has also been reported that weapons and ammunition were seized from them. According to the ministry's data, the aforementioned group has been involved in various crimes, assassination attempts, and attacks in the region.
