Well, they are heroes, I am not a hero, I do not have their opportunities. This was stated by the MP of the 'Civil Contract' faction, Hvokik Khaghazaryan, in an interview with NEWS.am regarding the opposition alliances' refusal of bonuses received on the occasion of Independence Day.

In response to the question of the refusal of bonuses by the opposition factions to direct the funds towards solving the social issues of border communities or returning them to the budget, he said, “I welcome their step.”

“Are you ready to refuse your bonus for the same purpose?”

I send money to the 'Pan-Armenian' fund from my salary every month. If you were aware, you would say, 'Mr. Khaghazaryan has done something good,' I have never mentioned this anywhere.

“Have you been interested that I am in the region all day and meeting different people, solving various issues, and certain problems are being resolved?”

We do not get up all day to talk about it.

“But going to the region is not part of your duties?”

I mean not going to the region, but providing financial assistance in certain cases. We do as much as our opportunities allow.

I do not even know where I will use the bonus, but that cynicism that we will send it here and there... let them send it, who is stopping them?

Opposition MPs, justifying their decision, state that receiving bonuses in a post-war situation is not appropriate. What is your opinion?

Their point of view has the right to exist. They are not doing anything extraordinary; it is just their viewpoint.
