Stunt Car Accident in Yerevan: 30-Year-Old Driver Falls into Gorge
Today, on September 17, a stunt car accident occurred in Yerevan, as reported by Shamshyan.com. Around 6:30 PM, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call stating that a vehicle had fallen into a gorge on the winding section of the gorge leading from Yerevan to Kanakeravan.
A rescue team arrived at the scene with one combat unit. The emergency medical team 1-03 from Yerevan also arrived to provide immediate assistance. They administered first aid to the driver of the Nissan Versa, identified as 30-year-old Grigor Sarkisyan, who had rolled about 150 meters down the gorge. After receiving medical help, Sarkisyan refused to go to the hospital, declaring that he felt well.
Fire and rescue personnel, after great difficulty reaching the vehicle, closed the gas tank valve and cut off the power. Investigations are underway regarding the incident.
