Another Soldier Arrested in Case of Sergeant's Death and Colleague's Gunshot Wounds

The investigation into the case of one soldier receiving a fatal gunshot wound and another soldier suffering gunshot injuries is ongoing at the Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

Following urgent investigative actions, several significant circumstances related to the incident have been established, including the identity of the person allegedly committing the crime, who is also a soldier from the same military unit.

It has been previously reported that this individual has been arrested on suspicion of violating rules concerning combat duty or service. Based on sufficient evidence, he has been charged under Article 365, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. The prosecuting body has submitted a motion to the court for pre-trial detention, which has been granted.
