Armenia Listed Among Epidemiologically Unsafe Countries

The Embassy of Armenia in Spain informs that as of September 15, a new procedure has come into force in Spain, which places Armenia on the list of epidemiologically unsafe countries.

"We inform you that starting from September 15 of this year, under the new procedure effective in Spain, Armenia has been included in the list of epidemiologically unsafe countries, which means that Armenian citizens arriving in Spain for tourism purposes are required to present a vaccination certificate. Furthermore, the vaccine must be registered with the Spanish Ministry of Health (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Astra-Zeneca, Janssen/Johnson & Johnson, Sinovac, and Sinopharm). In exceptional cases, entry for Armenian citizens may also be allowed by presenting a negative PCR test result, but in this case, prior travel authorization must be obtained from the consular section of the Embassy of Spain in Russia," the statement reads.
