Armenia Files Lawsuit Against Azerbaijan in UN International Court

Armenia has initiated proceedings against Azerbaijan in the UN International Court, in accordance with the international convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination. This was announced on Thursday by the press service of the ministry.

The lawsuit presented by the Armenian side states that “Azerbaijan has subjected Armenia to racial discrimination for decades,” which has been manifested in mass killings, torture, and other violations.

The lawsuit also demands the imposition of provisional measures against Azerbaijan.
