Macron Announces Elimination of Leader of ISIS-affiliated Group
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that French armed forces have neutralized the leader of the Islamic State-affiliated Great Sahara group.
“French troops have neutralized Adnan Abu Walid al-Sahrawi, the leader of the Islamic State terrorist group. This is another major success in our fight against terrorist groups in the Sahel,” Macron stated on his Twitter account.
