The Sotk-Vardenis road is closed as citizens protest against the consolidation of communities. “We are the mouth of the border; let the nights come, they will see the Turkish lights burning on the mountains. Ensure our security, don’t merge communities. Who needs the National Assembly? We don’t need it, they are only thinking about themselves, not making any decisions for the people,” say the gathered protesters.
