The Order to Vaccinate or Submit PCR Tests Twice a Month Will Be Challenged in Court, Says President of the Bar Association

The President of the Bar Association, Ara Zohrabyan, stated in an interview with Sputnik Armenia that the Bar Association will challenge the order of the Minister of Health. According to the order, effective from October 1, employees are required to present their employer with either a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a document verifying a negative result from a COVID-19 PCR test conducted every 14 days.

He informed that the order would be contested in the Administrative Court with a demand to suspend its enforcement. If there is no positive outcome, legal aid professional groups providing free assistance will be formed to defend citizens.

In the event of job termination, citizens will file a lawsuit in court for the protection of their rights. If administrative penalties are applied against citizens, the penalties of the administrative bodies will also be challenged in court.
