Police Officer's Vehicle Falls into Huge Pit in Yerevan Center, Crashes into Wall

For several days now, a massive pit on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan has become a real nightmare for drivers. According to Shamshyan.com, drivers are experiencing material damage due to this pit almost every day. Today, yet again, an accident occurred because of it. Between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM, a police officer from the Yerevan division of the Patrol Service, while driving a service vehicle, failed to notice the pit and fell into it, subsequently losing control of the vehicle, crashing into a traffic sign, and then into a wall.

Preliminary reports indicate that there are no injuries. However, it is still unclear who will cover the damages. Residents of the Kilikia neighborhood have announced their intention to block the road and fill the pit with pictures of the mayor and the head of the administrative district.
