Nikol's Civilized Partner Announces Competition for New Shushi Logo: Silence in Armenia, Says Vahan Babayan
Nikol's "civilized" partner has announced a competition for a new logo for Shushi. This was stated by Vahan Babayan, the president of the Reformist Party.
“A special commission has been created to review the proposals. By the end of September, they will create a new logo for the city, and those who design it are reminded not to forget that Shushi is their cultural historical capital. The winner will receive 3000 manats. Naturally, there has been no reaction from the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh to such audacity. The reasons for the silence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are clear; what response can they provide? But at the very least, our opposition lawmakers should condemn this and tell the world that Shushi cannot be the Azerbaijani historical cultural capital because it is our historical city. Silence from diplomats on such issues is a betrayal of our national interests, and all of this must be brought to light, as those who claim to have received a mandate from the people have quietly forgotten Artsakh,” Babayan emphasized.
