Shots Fired Towards Nerkin Hand Village: Armenian Side Reports Casualties (Unofficial)

Telegram channels report that gunfire was heard from the Azerbaijani side towards the village of Nerkin Hand in the Syunik province around midnight.

According to the Yerevan Speaks Telegram channel, former MP Sophia Hovsepyan stated this information. “Everything is calm in other directions. There were no gunshots in Kapan,” the former MP said.

According to initial reports, a shootout near the village of Nerkin Hand resulted in one military personnel being injured, and the Telegram channel also reported one fatality. There is no official information regarding this matter yet.

Auroranews attempted to clarify the information from Syunik province. The mayor of Kapan, in a conversation with us, stated that he does not comment on the information. When asked if he denies it, he responded that he does not comment.
