«It Is Important to Reduce Tensions»: EU Representative Visits Yeraskh

The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar, has visited Armenia. On September 14, Klaar tweeted about his visit, stating: “I just concluded a good visit to Armenia after two days of intensive meetings. The visit to Yeraskh left a clear impression of how often the military positions of Armenia and Azerbaijan are so close to each other. It is important to reduce tensions at the border to foster a better atmosphere for negotiations. The European Union is ready to support.”
