If Armenian authorities did not withdraw troops to Soviet borders, it would be disastrous for us, says Prime Minister

If Armenian authorities had not withdrawn troops to Soviet borders, meaning the borders from the era of the Soviet Union, it would have been disastrous for us. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement during a question-and-answer session in the National Assembly on September 15.

According to Pashinyan, a decision was made to defend Armenia's territorial integrity and sovereignty. “Moreover, this decision was not made unilaterally, but based on discussions and thorough analyses. It is true that some of the participants in the discussions later stated that they were not aware,” noted the Prime Minister.

He also added that if this issue were to be discussed privately, he would be able to prove the validity of the decision made.
