EU Special Representative Visits Yeraskh

The European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, has visited Yeraskh before heading to Baku from Yerevan. He announced this on his Twitter page.

“The visit to Yeraskh provides a good understanding of how close the military positions of Armenia and Azerbaijan are. It is important to reduce tensions at the border to improve the atmosphere for negotiations. The European Union is ready to support that,” the EU Special Representative wrote on Twitter.

Previously, the EU representative met with the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Armenia in Yerevan.
