Due to Aircraft Malfunction, Ararat Mirzoyan Unable to Depart for Dushanbe

Due to an aircraft malfunction, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, was unable to travel to Dushanbe to participate in the joint meeting of the Foreign Ministers, Defense Ministers, and Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CSTO. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Hunanyan.

“However, he will travel to Dushanbe, where he will participate in the work of CSTO structures tomorrow. A bilateral meeting is also scheduled,” noted Vahan Hunanyan.

It is worth noting that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a photograph from the meeting of the CSTO member countries’ Foreign Ministers Council, Defense Ministers Council, and Secretaries of Security Councils in Dushanbe, which reveals that Armenia’s Foreign Minister and Defense Minister did not participate. Armenia was represented at the meeting by the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, and Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the CSTO, Viktor Biagov.
