Drones Produced in Armenia Do Not Meet Military Demand, Minister Says
Drones produced in Armenia currently do not meet the military's demand, said Vahe Khachatryan, the Minister of High-Tech Industry, in an interview with Sputnik Armenia.
“However, I do not want to see this as a major issue because people are just becoming active, and they are beginning to see new perspectives. Additionally, the order placed by the Ministry of Defense is also new. This means that people are already aware that their products are needed by the Ministry of Defense, and they can consider thinking about serial production, taking this into account,” Khachatryan stated.
He noted that all companies producing drones in Armenia are aware that the country is ready to purchase their products. “It might be more appropriate to conduct such tests during exercises because, no matter how ordinary the testing conditions may be, it is clear that these are completely different situations during exercises,” Khachatryan added.
