Azerbaijan Fires Two Rounds at Taghavard: Vahram Poghosyan
Two rounds of gunfire have been recorded in the direction of the Taghavard village in the Republic of Artsakh, although they were not specifically directed at the village itself. This was reported by Vahram Poghosyan, head of the information department of the President’s Office of Artsakh, in an interview with NEWS.am.
Poghosyan did not specify which parts of the day saw the Azerbaijani side violate the ceasefire and open fire, abstaining from further commentary.
When asked whether Russian peacekeeping forces are stationed in the Taghavard area, Poghosyan stated that the peacekeepers are located quite far from the village. “The Russian peacekeepers are located quite far from Taghavard, but there are forces in that region overall,” Poghosyan noted.
