Mother of Fallen Soldier Approved Program for September 21 Event: Nairi Sargsyan
Prime Minister's assistant Nairi Sargsyan wrote on his Facebook page: "Yesterday, in front of the Government building, the mother of a fallen soldier was protesting alone against the September 21 event. I approached her, but she was very upset and did not listen to me. A short time later, I requested for her to be escorted to the building. In the office, I presented her with the content of the events dedicated to Independence Day, including graphic visuals, the program dedicated to the fallen soldiers, and a list of performances to be conducted by a symphonic orchestra and choir, among others.
The mother approved of the program and thanked me for planning such content. She mentioned that she was very angry when she heard that a joyful celebration was planned. I invited her to attend the event, where special seating is arranged for the parents of fallen soldiers. We warmly hugged, and I expressed my respect for her and all other heroes' parents. We exchanged phone numbers to stay in touch."
