Azerbaijani Propaganda Machine Attributes to Us What the International Press Blames Them For
As we have already reported, the EADaily international news agency published an analysis based on statistics from the British newspaper “The Economist”, reflecting the death toll caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The report addressed Azerbaijan, indicating that the real losses for Azerbaijan during the 44-day war could be many times greater.
The agency reports that the deaths registered due to COVID-19 in Azerbaijan increased by 4 to 5 times in the period following the war. In October, it exceeded the monthly average by 29%, in November by 83%, in December by 203%, and in January by 51%.
At the end of the article, EADaily also touched upon Armenia, noting that during the same period, the deaths recorded as a result of the pandemic increased by almost double here.
In pursuit of cheap sensationalism, Azerbaijani websites simply cut the section relating to Armenia from EADaily and presented it as evidence that Armenia is allegedly hiding its actual combat losses and not mentioning the real losses of Azerbaijan, despite the material being dedicated precisely to Azerbaijan.
