Defense Ministry Soldiers Involved in Opel Car Accident

On September 12th, an accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 23:30, a 22-year-old resident of Yerevan, Avetis Bznuni, lost control of his Opel vehicle on the 23 km section of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway, veering off the road under unknown circumstances and rolling over several times before landing in a field.

According to Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, A. Bznuni along with his passengers—21-year-old Garik Grigoryan from the Kotayk region and 22-year-old Armen Vahanian from the Armavir region—sustained injuries and were transported to the “Gavar” Medical Center.

Officers from the Military Police Department of the Defense Ministry arrived at the scene, as it was established that the driver and the injured individuals serve in the Defense Ministry’s Military Unit No. N.
