71-Year-Old Man Assaults and Issues Death Threats to 64-Year-Old Ex-Wife

Investigation is underway at the Central Police Department regarding an incident of intentional property destruction that occurred on September 11 in Yerevan.

According to shamshyan.com, on that day, information was received at the Central Police Department that a man was physically assaulting his wife in one of the buildings on Republic Avenue. An operational group from the juvenile affairs department of the Central Police Department responded to the address and discovered that a resident of the mentioned building, 64-year-old Tsaghik K., had been attacked by her ex-husband, 71-year-old Vard H., around 7:30 AM the same day. Vard H. not only struck her but also made death threats against her and damaged Tsaghik's car, which was parked in the yard of the building.

According to reports, the police applied urgent intervention measures against Vard H. at the scene.
