Video: Military Exercises in Central Riga Next to a Woman with a Stroller and Other Passersby

Military exercises named Namejs 2021 have commenced in Latvia on August 30. Despite being designed to protect the civilian population, a video surfaced online today showing that these exercises are being conducted in the capital city, Riga, while citizens are strolling through the area.

The footage reveals military personnel performing drills in close proximity to a woman with a stroller as she crosses the street. The child begins to cry due to the gunfire.

It has been reported that these exercises will continue until October 3. They are being held in conjunction with training from the 'Silver Arrow' mechanized infantry brigade. Approximately 9,300 participants from 17 countries are involved in the exercises.
