Tragic Car Accident in Vayots Dzor Region: 40-Year-Old Man Dies

On September 9, a criminal case was initiated based on the decision of Senior Investigator Sirakanyan from the 2nd Police Division's 6th Battalion, under Article 242, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code. According to shamshyan.com, on September 7, around 23:30, a UAZ 452 vehicle lost control due to a landslide on an old road leading to the Zaritap settlement, overturned, and rolled several meters into a ravine.

As a result of the accident, the occupants of the vehicle, 40-year-old Vahe Babayan and 39-year-old Arayik Arzumanyan, were transported with injuries to the 'Vayk' medical center. A. Arzumanyan works as a police officer in the detention facility of the Vayk Police Department. On September 8, the hospital notified the Vayk police that V. Babayan had died.
