The Individual Who Offered $10,000 to Harm a City Hall Official on Social Media Has Been Identified

On September 3, the Central Division of the Police received a letter from the Yerevan City Hall stating that a user on one of the social media platforms publicly offered $10,000 to harm an official of the Yerevan City Hall in connection with their official duties.

The police reported that through operational and investigative measures, they identified the individual behind the social media account, who was presented to the Yerevan police on September 8 and provided a confession.

Investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances. Materials are being prepared.
