President Bids Farewell to Jonathan Lacôte

The President of the Republic, Armen Sarkissian, today received Jonathan Lacôte, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.

President Sarkissian highly appreciated Ambassador Lacôte's diplomatic service in Armenia and expressed gratitude for his personal efforts to deepen the traditional friendly relations between Armenia and France. “Thank you for your active and effective work during your diplomatic mission in Armenia,” said President Sarkissian.

The President handed a letter of gratitude to Ambassador Jonathan Lacôte, emphasizing his significant contribution to the friendship between the two countries and peoples.

Ambassador Jonathan Lacôte, for his part, expressed his appreciation for the trust shown by President Sarkissian in his capacity as ambassador. He stated that he has been, and will remain, one of Armenia's best friends and will continue to contribute to the deepening of Armenian-French friendly relations.
